CPU Load not balanced

hi,

I'm having trouble figuring out why one of the cores in my server is carrying most of the load.

I run Oracle 11g R1 on Oracle Unbreakable Linux 5. The server has a quad-core CPU. Core 1 is at 17%, Core 2 is at 100%, core 3 is at 5% and core 4 is at 5%. I wanted to see if someone could help me to find out why all the load seems to be going to core 2.

I appreciate any help I can get.
