CPU_COUNT on AIX ?

Hello All,

We have Oracle Database 10.2.0.2.0 installed on AIX 5.3 OS having 8 CPUs.

We have two databases created on this machine and 1 of them is eating up all the CPU because of poor applications.

What we want to do is that we want 1 database to use only 4 CPUs. Can this be achieved with CPU_COUNT parameter ?

We could not find this parameter in AIX doc. Is this parameter even supported on AIX ?
