cp command gives error as invalid argument

Hi,

Can anybody help on the below problem.

I am trying to copy a db file in solaris 10 to another location. But getting below error:

root@egprdecc1 # cp -rpf sr3_39 /backup_STG_5/backup_PER/tue/

cp: sr3_39/sr3.data39: Invalid argument

sr3_39 is a 2gb file, checked the permissions as well. For other db files copying is completing. Please let me know the solution.
