could not create Java virtual machine

Hi...

I m trying to install Horizon8 client which is a library system but when I try I get this massage "could not create java virtual machine". I m using jre1.6.0_06 but when I chick the version on command line through
java - version I get deferent version, this is what I get

java version "1.3.1_02"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.1_02-b02
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.1_02-b02, mixed mode)

Can any one help me with this?
