Could not chdir to home directory /home/oracle

hi,

on login to oracle account i got these error message,
Could not chdir to home directory /home/oracle: No such file or directory
/usr/X11R6/bin/xauth: error in locking authority file /home/oracle/.Xauthority
oracle user has no directory under /home/.
does it mean that oracle user is been created without dir, how should i resolve this error, please advice me on the same. should i need to ask to re-create the user or any workaround is possible.
