Could iscsi device be used for cluster telemetry?

User12684177-OracleOct 28 2012 — edited Oct 30 2012
Hi All

I am just configuring cluster telemetry on two nodes of cluster in virtualbox.
I have setup two iscsi device (zfs based) to be used for quorum disk or for something else.

# format
AVAILABLE DISK SELECTIONS:
0. c1t0d0 <DEFAULT cyl 10440 alt 2 hd 255 sec 63>
/pci@0,0/pci8086,2829@d/disk@0,0
1. c2t600144F0508A2AB7000A0B0C0D010300d0 <DEFAULT cyl 1021 alt 2 hd 128 sec 32>
/scsi_vhci/disk@g600144f0508a2ab7000a0b0c0d010300
2. c2t600144F0508A51FA000A0B0C0D010300d0 <DEFAULT cyl 1021 alt 2 hd 128 sec 32>
/scsi_vhci/disk@g600144f0508a51fa000a0b0c0d010300

As you see disk 1 & 2 are the iscsi.

# /usr/cluster/bin/cldev list -v
DID Device Full Device Path
---------- ----------------
d1 node1:/dev/rdsk/c0t0d0
d2 node1:/dev/rdsk/c1t0d0
d3 node2:/dev/rdsk/c2t600144F0508A2AB7000A0B0C0D010300d0
d3 node1:/dev/rdsk/c2t600144F0508A2AB7000A0B0C0D010300d0
d4 node2:/dev/rdsk/c0t0d0
d5 node2:/dev/rdsk/c1t0d0
d6 node1:/dev/rdsk/c2t600144F0508A51FA000A0B0C0D010300d0
d6 node2:/dev/rdsk/c2t600144F0508A51FA000A0B0C0D010300d0

Now I want to setup cluster telemetry using one of the iscsi disk( like d3, is it possible?)
