Corrupt/missing domains and logical data types? SQLDM 23.1

AndyHFeb 8 2024 — edited Feb 8 2024

WITHOUT opening a model, in Tools / Domain Administration I can see the Available Domains listed, but they have no populated attributes e.g. the Domains File is blank.

If I check Tools / Preferences / Data Modeler and ‘Default Systems Types Directory’ the location displayed does include defaultdomains.xml and types.xml and they do include the expected domain information.

The domain files themselves appear to be unchanged.

My data models don't seem able to see/understand the domains and logical data types files.

For example, looking at an entity I can ‘see’ the data type and domain/logical assigned to an attribute but if I try to change the data type all I can see are the domains/logicals assigned to other members of that entity - not the complete list. That is, if my entity only uses DATE and NUMERIC logicals then those are the only ones that appear in the drop down list.

Any ideas?
