correct trigger to populate a field?
789736Mar 4 2011 — edited Mar 4 2011Hi guys, i currently have a field in my record so that when the user wants to add a new record the date field is populated with the current date (however this can be manually changed by the user) , however I am unsure of whicvh trigger would be the best to do it on? I was thinking when new record instance, but then if i go to an existing record it would copy the current date into the already exisiting record.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
