Friends,
I am using oracle 11.2.0.2 on "Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.8 (Tikanga)" kernel "2.6.18-308.4.1.el5".
This is my preproduction environment, having 2 node cluster and 13 databases running on it. Cluster, DB, and ASM, all three are 11.2.0.2.
I am facing this issue of very big core files under location "$ORACLE_HOME/log/fllxnpodb002/agent/crsd/oraagent_oracle".
In the log below, please note the blue text line. This core file has grown to 8 GB size.
I want to know what's the use and relevance of this file. And is it safe to delete this file without impacting the functioning of my cluster
[root@fllxnpodb002 oraagent_oracle]# pwd
/opt/app/grid/11202/log/fllxnpodb002/agent/crsd/oraagent_oracle
[root@fllxnpodb002 oraagent_oracle]# ls -lart
