Core DUMP during NID after manual restart of a duplicate operation

Greetings

After having successfully restarted a failed RMAN duplicate operation in recovery phase, I'm getting a Segmentation Fault (core dump) while executing NID utility to change the DBID.
The cloned database seems to be otherwise working properly.

I'm trying to avoid to submit the duplicate from scratch, because it's a 20TB database.

I'm using Oracle 10.2.0.4 on Solaris SPARC 64 version 10.

Any hints would very appreciated
