Copying the sequence values from one DB to the other..

USER101Jun 13 2018 — edited Jun 14 2018

Hello All,

We have a large ( 10+ TB) database being migrated with ZERO DOWN TIME method using Goldengate..unfortunately GG is unable to catch up on the sequence values despite splitting them into their own replicat.

Just wondering if anyone has a smart script that can take the existing values of the sequences with other attributes from the source database and when run on the target, resets the sequence the same value ? This is in preparation for the cut over exercise.

Don't get me wrong, I can write the script but just don't have time..

Thanks in advance
