Copy & paste (Ctrl+c & Ctrl+v) doesn't work for a textfield and Textarea

When I edit a text field , the {color:#0000ff}"paste"{color} command *(Ctrl+v)* doesn't work when the {color:#0000ff}"copy"{color} *(Ctrl+c)* comes from _{color:#800000}*Microsoft Word/Power poin*t{color}._ It works fine if I copy the text from any other text editor.

Can anybody please help in this ?
