Cookie Rejected Problem

Hello all :)

I've been running a program to login to an a/c for a game and present me with information for over a year now. Unfortunately today it has stopped working - I received the following error:

WARNING: Cookie rejected: "$Version=0; FP-TS=1161878012; $Domain=bbc.co.uk; $Pat
h=/cgi-perl/signon/". Domain attribute "bbc.co.uk" violates RFC 2109: domain mus
t start with a dot

What do you think has changed? And what do you think I should do?
