convertion of Danish characters in UTF8

Hello everybody,

I am facing a strange situation on my project.
We are not able to convert a special/national Danish character into UTF (e.g. convert “JordbÃ¿Å r” to “Jordbær JordbÿŠr”).
I am using the built-in function CONVERT and an Oracle 9.2 database.
Do you have any idea how can I solve this?
