Converting XML Files to PDF

759372Jun 7 2010 — edited Oct 19 2011
As the subject says. Is it possible to convert XML files into PDF? We have a website and I would like a "PDF" button on top of every single content on the page and once this button is clicked the content should be converted into PDF format and should open the PDF file from where users can either save it back into UCM (as new check-in) or print it or save it on the desktop. I have looked at inbound refinery and also how to install the PDF converter component and all. But I am just getting confused as to how is it going to take a XML Native file and convert it into a PDF file without XML tags and stuff. So basically I would like the content on the page to be converted to pdf in "WYSIWYG" format. I am using UNIX and apparently I have fewer options compare to if CS was intalled on Windows (I might be wrong)? Please help me, thanks.
