Converting to OCI from DB/CT Library

Hi
We are looking to migrate some applications written in C which connects to the Sybase database, to be converted to connect to the Oracle database.
We would like to know the process involved in this.
The application migration assistant just identifies the SQL statements which need a relook but does not mention about how to go about changing connection parameters and areas of the like.

Any help would be appreciated
