Converting the Date Given in Epoch

Hi All,

I have an time stamp about which time zone i don't have a idea. I want to convert it to epoch.

Can anybody tell me what can be done to convert it to epoch time.

I am using Oracle db version 10.2.0.4.0

for example my time stamp is :- 2011-05-13 02:49:31.365 .
I need to convert it to epoch
