Converting Oracle database to text/sql files

Hi
I am using Oracle 8.1.5 version and want the database under a username to be exported to the Oracle 8.1.7 version running on a different machine.As the target machine is throwing the version compatibiltiy error, I want all the database objects(tables,stored procedures,sequences etc) to be exported into a text file to make the things simple.

I am new to Oracle & could find any way to do this.If anyone knows the simplest solution,pls reply.
