Converting Gregorian Calender to Buddha calender

Hi,
We are using MVC Architecture. In our application we are storing Gregorian calender Date in the Model but we have to display that Date in Buddha Calender format in Veiw. Please give me a generic solution which will be applicable for the whole project.
