Converting a huge digit number into text (INR)

Hi Experts,

I have a column which holds the numeric value, i want to convert that number into text format.

Ex : 1,7,24,35,500 the out put will be seventeen crores twenty four lakh thirty five thousand and five hundred rupees.

The output format will be an Indian format not US format.

I have used JSP but it is limited to 1 crore digit only.

Please help me.
