Convert X.500 address to RFC822 format

Hello everybody,
Does any one know how to convert a X.500 address (I'm not sure is that what it's called) to a standard RFC822 address. For example, I have a Lotus Domino Account ID: CN=Test User/O=myco_org, and I would like to somehow convert it to the address: Test.User@myco.org; the problem is the address' structure may change and can not be predicted.
This account is pulled from Lotus Domino Directory Service, by the way.
Any advice will be extremely appreciated.
