convert sound files to mp3

Hi!

Ich want to convert audio files (like .wav and .qt) to .mp3.
Could someone help me with this?

My program is able to convert .mp3 to .wav, .au and .aif (using sound API, mp3 SPI and JLayer).
Now i need to convert this files back to mp3.
