Convert PDF to Word or RTF

Hi,
I am have a requirement wherein I have to convert a PDF document into a word or RTF document. There are lots of tools in the market, however, each of these run as a stand alone application and are used for converting a single instance of the document manually.
Is there any API which does convert from pdf to rtf or word, which I can dynamically invoke from java runtime from a web application.
