Convert into negative number

All,
I have an requirement where I have to convert an number into _ve number based on another field in the table.

Lets say my inputs are:

A B
1 21
-2 31
3 41
-1 51
4 61
5 71
-6 81

My output should be

A B
1 21
-2 -31
3 41
-1 -51
4 61
5 71
-6 -81

So A decides whether my output should be positive or negative.

Please let me know...
