Convert excel file to .csv format to upload the data in external table?

Hi All,
I am having once excel sheet with single sheet. I need to convert this excel to .csv format.so I just open this excel and click save as and given filename as test.csv and type as CSV(comma delimited) and clicked save button. When I do this I am getting an error message as ' The selected file type does not support workbooks that contain multiple sheets'.
once I click 'Yes' for this I am getting an another message as 'test.csv may contain features that are not compatible with csv(comma delimited).do you want to keep the workbook in this format?'.

How to overcome this message?
