Convert drive from EFI to VTOC

807559Feb 12 2005 — edited Feb 12 2005
I'm trying to install Solaris 10 on my E220R. It used to have FreeBSD for Sparc running. I decided to install Solaris 10. During the install I received an error saying 'No Disk'. probe_scsi_all shows the disk installed and format finds it at c0t0d0.

The best I can tell is at this point there is no slice 2 defined. It appears to be formated as and EFI type drive. I want to format the drive as VTOC so I can install the new OS. I'm new to Sun and Solaris so any help would be appreciated.

Specs:
Seagate SCSI 18.2 Gb drive ST318404LC SUN18G
Sun part# 3900038-05
Sun E220R server 2x450Mhz w/512Mb ram and DVD-rom.
No more OS. No data on drive to worry about.
