Convert Date using ORACLE WAREHOUSE BUILDER

Hi,

I just want to convert date from 'dd/mon/yyyy' to 'yyyy/mon/dd'. The data type is varchar(2) and in the database it is stored as date. In oracle warehouse builder I am using an expression component.

Right now I am using this expression REPLACE(TO_DATE(INGRP1.FROMDATE), 'YYYY-MON-DD') but it is not working.

Can someone help me! Please. Very urgent
