convert any number to numberth format

Hi,

Can anybody tell me how to convert any number to numberth format.I mean to say 100 to 100th,51 to 51st like that.

I am able to convert from number 1 to 31 by using to_char(to_date(<number>,'J'),'ddth').above that I am unable to covert.

and don't send me any script.I want a single sql statement which will take care of this.
