convert an existing form to a master detail form

Hi, I am trying to convert an existing form to a master detail form, is this possible? I have a form which has three tabs, the three tabs all contain info about the authority holder. I now want to add a fourth tab and make it the detail of a master-detail form.
I have added the additional data block and have copied from another master-detail form that I have the trigger "ON-POPULATE_DETAILS" . The form compiles without errors but if I do a query the detail does not contain only info relating to the master but all the records from the detail table.

Can someone help.
