Conversion functions in Oracle 11g Express;HEXTORAW &RAWTOHEX

hi everybody !
hextoraw ('0041') must return A but it doesn't return this value ,,it returns 0041
I'm using Oracle 11g Express
select hextoraw('0041') from dual; --> 0041 ? but must return A
why is that ?
please help me
