Controlling on Oracle Forms Date Range not more than 31 days.

Respected all,

I need some help regarding oracle forms developer, in oracle report I have two date parameters :fmdate & :todate
, the requirement is , end user must not be able to extract data "more than a month" and end-user can extract data for 1 day more than two days and for a week as well.

I tried to restrict it at the report level by using functions such as trunc(:fmdate,'month') & last_day(:todate) and passing one :fromdate date parameter at the form level ... but it didn't work because it extracts one month data only. And suffice the requirement which is:
"end user must not be able to extract data "more than a month" and end-user can extract data for 1 day more than two days and for a week as well."

Some one have told me that it can control via RAISE_FORM_TRIGGER ... but I dont know how to use it.

I will be thankful to this forum, if someone help me out in this regard.

Regards
