"content length is zero" error

After 6 years away from e-test I'm now evaluating OpenScript for using with our Ajax Application. I have 2 problems to solve.
1. Our application can send zero length event responses which causes the test to abort with the error *"content length is zero"* but is a perfectly valid response.
2. I want to be able to change the page contents expected depending upon the value of a databank variable.
Can anyone help ?
