Two of the features I miss the most from SQLDeveloper Classic are:
-
The ability to add database connections into folders AND sub-folders
-
When opening a new connection in VS Code, only password is requested/prompted. I really like the old way where the USERNAME is also visible AND POSSIBLE TO ALTER. I never save passwords with my connections (I think it's just bad practice) and I sometimes connect to the same database using different credentials. With VS Code, changing username is quite cumbersome and storing multiple connections to the same database will result in a cluttered connection list, especially without the ability to sort into folders but even with folders I still don't would prefer not to have more than one connection to the same database.
