connection reset by peer with ssh

I have installed Enterprise Linux from Oracle (RH4 U4).

ssh is running on this server and i can see the process.
I can establish ssh connection but it drops after a while and does not allow me to reconnect for quite sometime.

Searching on net and saw few suggestions on KeepAlive setting to be Yes and the clientaliveinterval to be a value as 300. None of that helps.

Any suggestions.
