I installed the Enterprise version of Oracle Database 12c on a Windows 10 pc with the details below:
G:\app\UserXXX\virtual\product\12.2.0\dbhome_1
Global Database Name: orcl
Pluggable Database Instance: orclpdb
Password: Winter001 {not actual password}
I am trying to connect using the sql developer application but every new connection settings seems to fail. What user name and password should I use. I know the password I installed the Oracle Database 12c with but I am unsure of the other settings.
I apologise if this seems a lame question as I am a complete newbie to Oracle (previously a SQL 2008 R2 person).
