connection from Geomedia 4.0/5.0 to Oracle 9i

I have a problem in the connection with Geomedia 4.0/5.0 to Oracle 9i.
"Automation Error
The invoked object is disconnected by the corresponding clients."
Are there some problems of compatibility?
