I installed Oracle SQL Developer as alternative to TOAD which I don't like. Surprisingly I got an error with SQL Developer when trying to connect to the DB, while everything is fine with TOAD. I'm using the same tnsnames.ora and sqlnet.ora files.
What's the deal with SQL Developer?
When connecting with TOAD a windows security pop-up is shown, allowing me to select a certificate.
The connect type selected, in SQL Developer, is TNS.
