connection count history

user13364377Nov 29 2016 — edited Nov 29 2016

Hi All,

Is there a way to find the number of connections made to the database during a particular time frame? Say for example, 10 : 05 to 10: 10 IST.?

I have got some information from the Average Active Sessions column from the ASH report(This column gives us the number of sessions, either working or waiting for a resource at a specific point in time) . But my question would be, is this the correct way to get the active connection details for a database for a particular period of time or do we have a better way to get  this information?

DB version: 11.2.0.4
