Connecting trough .udl file

Hello,
I have a question if it's possible to have my jdbc connection string refer to a .udl file.
So instead of referring to an ODBC data source I want it to get the connection from the .udl file this way I only have to update the .udl file on a server for example if anything happens to the data connection.
I wonder if this is possible or not.
