Connecting to SQLServer with JDBC

I've got Merant JDBC driver for SQL Server. I tested it from my workstation and it works.
After loading driver into database (9.2.0.1.0 on AIX), a lot of classes did not resolve, and I can't use the driver.

What is the problem? Is it possible to use JDBC driver like this?
