connecting to IBM mainframe using LDAP connector

Hi,

We have a IBM Mainframe target system. Instead of going with the IBM RACF Advanced connector, we thinking of using with the LDAP connector.

Main idea here is to connect to the LDAP (which is used by IBM Mainframe) using the LDAP connector.

Wanted to know, has anybody worked on this approach?

Will this approach work ?

Please suggest.
