Connecting to an old version 7.3.4

Hi all is it still possible to connect to an old version of oracle database 7.3.4 using sqlplus that comes in bundle with the Oracle10g? I want to transfer data from the old db to the new one using database link ... below are the error message i got when i attempt to connect
