Connecting Oracle Forms And Reports to Database on other system

Hi!

I have installed Oracle 10g Forms and reports in a system.

Oracle database is in the other system (server)

Not able to connect form/report builder to database on other system.

I tried to amend the tnsnames.ora in report builder system, and given host as oracle install pc IP address and service_name = <oracle_db_hoststring>

Can any one please help to resolve the issue ( step by step process plz)
