connecting oracle db with toad through vmware

I want to connect TOAD with my oracle 10g database runnning on vmware with Solaris OS.

Please tell me the steps to connect to the database through vmware.

Toad version is 10.5
Toad is installed on windows vista enterprise

oracle database version: 10.2.0
OS is Solaris 10. but installed on vmware 6.0.4
