I want to how to install oracle database 10g release 2 enterprise edition on a PC which is usually connected to a router ( directly or through switches ) , and
this pc will act as a server which i will connect a client or more to it .
- I've read the " Network topics " section in the documentation , and it says that i need to install a loopback adapter .
- my first question is :
is not the idea to have a static ip address through a virtual NIC ?
-2nd question :
if i intend to connect the PC's through wifi , and the answer of the first question is " Yes " , can not i use something like " VirtualRouterPlus " which creates a virtual Router ?
