Connected to an idle instance

Hello,

Yesterday I shutdown my database,
Today I am connect to my DB but I get: Connected to an idle instance, so I access to the sqlplus as sysdba and give a startup. However I got:
ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Disconnection forced
