Connect to a Dynamic Changing IP

Hi,

We have a setup of a database link via a VPN to remote site (static IP) and it works fine.

Connection from the remote site to the local site is working ONLY when we use the VPN IP in tnsnames.ora on the remote site (and the listener.ora is configured to listen to 0.0.0.0)

The problem is that VPN IP is dynamic and each reconnection I need to change tnsnames.ora

We want to keep the support of dynamic endpoint IP addresses assigned via Firewall/VPN.

Any idea for a solution?
