Connect Oracle DB from APEX

Hi,

I am Using APEX 5 in Oracle 11g.

I have a requirement to connect several other oracle db's in the network through my APEX Application.

What will be the best approach?

Either creating db links for all the schemas or using JDBC drivers or is there any better way to do this?

Kindly suggest.
