Connect from Oracle Sql Developer to MSSQL Server

I am trying to connect Oracle Sql Developer 3.0 to MSSQL Server 2000.

I have mentioned all Connection Name : my_connection
username : sa
password : sa
and in Hostname : \\FINU
Current Service on \\Finu
port : 1433
I have done JDBC Drivers : jtds-1.2.5.jar
windows : XP

while testing the connection it is displaying the error :
Status: Failure - Test failed: Network error IOException:Could not create socket

Actually we need to migrate data from SqlServer to Oracle . Is it any other way to migrate from sqlserver to Oracle
please help me as early as possible . last two days we are running back this .
