We are using EM12c Release 4 and Oracle EE 11.2.0.4 on Windows 2008 R2.
We would like to increase our quality insurrance on our Oracle databases using OEM.
We already receive email from OEM but some errors that we consider severe are not sent through email.
For example the following error conditions are not considered as alert by OEM and we don't get email for these:
ORA-1652: unable to extend temp segment by 128 in tablespace xxx
ORA-00600
TNS-% error message
ARCH: Archival stopped - (this is a very bad new!!!)
I have been trying a few things in OEM (Database Home / Logs / Alert Log Errors / Generic Alert Log Error Monitoring Configuration) but could not make it work.
Maybe I'm not looking at the right place?
In a first time, we would like to get every ORA- errors.
Later on we will filter out those that we do are not significant.
I know we could write a custom job that scans the alert or something like that...
But I'm wondering if there a simple solution for that simple need?
